As a local enterprise, HCT shows its love for its birthplace thereby expressing its concern for the socially vulnerable families in Hsinchu City by offering free catering services of foods for these families during the Chinese New Year. In addition, HCT also makes donations to the homes of the elderly in the city on Chinese New Year. HCT works with organizations such as藍天家園 (Bluesky Home, the home for the settlement of youths), 米可之家 (Miracle Home, the home for the youth at crossroad ), 世光教養院 (Shih Guang Educational and Nursing Institution, rehabilitation center for the fatal disability), 方濟托兒所 (nursery garden for the aboriginal people), 華光智能中心 (Catholic Hua Kuang Center, center for the physically and mentally retarded)
